Following its online livestream program for Tokyo Game Show 2022, Capcom has announced that its next set of Resident Evil news will premiere soon. Its most anticipated titles are currently a new edition of Resident Evil packaged with DLC and Resident Evil 4 Remake.
When is the Next Resident Evil Showcase?
The next Resident Evil Showcase will begin in Oct. 2022. While its titles Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 Remake, have been revealed as the focus, specific dates and other additional information have not yet been released.
What Will be Featured in the Resident Evil Showcase?
New DLC for Resident Evil Village, including an after-story starring Ethan Winters' daughter Rosemary, new playable characters in the Mercenary mode, and a new third-person camera mode for the main story, has been announced. These features will be included in a new Gold Edition of the game set to release on Oct. 28. The DLC will also be purchasable separately for players who already own the Resident Evil Village base game on Dec. 2.
Additionally, more information about Resident Evil 4 Remake, set to release on March 24, is set to be revealed in the showcase. While it recently was announced to be playable on PlayStation 4 alongside PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and X, and PC, not much else has been revealed about the remaster since its initial announcement earlier this year.
