Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 announced a new small map, Ashika Island, coming with Season 2. Since its reveal, many fans have been comparing it to Fortune's Keep and Rebirth Island.

After not being included in the release of Warzone 2, Resurgence mode is back starting Feb. 15. The fan-favorite mode allows for fast, chaotic gameplay in a condensed area. Compared to the lengthy games on Al Mazrah, Resurgence gives players the opportunity for more engagements in a shorter amount of time.

Although previous Resurgence maps, Fortune's Keep and Rebirth Island, are not set to come back, Ashika Island will give fans a new playground to explore.

Here's how Ashika Island stacks up against Fortune's Keep and Rebirth Island.

Warzone 2 Ashika Island vs. Fortune's Keep

Ashika Island is slightly smaller than Fortune's Keep. According to JGOD, the new map measures around 222,002m^2 compared to Fortune's Keep's 240,790m^2. Ashika Island also contains a greater range of terrains that span from water to grass to rock.

Ashika Island consists of less POIs than Fortune's Keep. Ashika Island's seven POIs are more spaced out than the 12 on Fortune's Keep, and are a mixture of agricultural, residential, industrial, and shoreline locations.

Warzone 2 Ashika Island vs. Rebirth Island

Rebirth Island is the smallest Resurgence map, measuring in at 152,865m^2. The size inspired action-packed gameplay among players, especially with respawns enabled. Although Ashika Island is bigger, the same play style will certainly transfer to the new map.

Despite its size, Rebirth Island consists of 11 POIs that are very close together. Ashika Island, on the other hand, has much greater distances between its POIs. Players looking to rotate across the map will have to cover more space to reach another POI.

Ashika Island will be available to play on Feb. 15.
