Twitch streamer 'Reydempto' was harassed for "being White" by an inebriated woman while he was broadcasting on the street. IRL streams are becoming popular on Twitch. Streamers share their daily life and international trips with viewers in real time during these streams.

However, some of these clips can show uncomfortable or even dangerous situations, like when the time travel streamer Jinny's phone was taken from her in the middle of a stream by a speeding motorcycle. While Reydempto was streaming live from the streets of Amsterdam at night, another uncomfortable incident was captured.

Harassed for being ‘White’

Reydempto was contacted by a woman who appeared to be drunk during his evening adventure. In response to something Rey had said, she was heard saying, "It's so f****n' funny, isn't it?" He moved the camera to reveal the woman's bright orange hat and said, "Your hat's funny," to which the woman said, "Why don't you wear it?"

After that, the woman asked, “Why don't you wear it? You are so White. You are so White. Like, do you realize how much your race has benefited you?” Another woman then entered the conversation and advised Rey not to broadcast the altercation. The other woman remarked, “Sorry, you cannot film her on this at all. It is not appropriate.”

‘It is unacceptable’

Reydempto receievd support on social media after tweeting the altercation. A user tweeted, “Interesting how Karen no.2 tells you it is ok for Karen no.1 to harass you, but not for you to have video evidence.” Similarly, another user tweeted, “Some people really should not be intoxicated in public.” Another chimed in with, “They are not even dutch hahaha. But it is unacceptible.”
