Sector's Edge is a first-person shooter built around destruction. It's started to pick up traction online as its fully destructible environment has made the rounds on social media, and now players want to get in on the game's next open beta.
But when does the next Sector's Edge open beta begin? How long will it stay online? Here's what you need to know.
Sector's Edge Beta Start Date
The current Sector's Edge beta started Friday, Oct. 21. This is the first open beta the game has hosted over the course of its nearly two years of Early Access development. Where previous betas required beta codes or downloading beta branches, this one is available to anyone who navigates to the game's page on the Steam Store and hits the big download button.
The beta comes with several new improvements, including raytraced audio, a weapon attachment system falling block destruction, and plenty more. Players can check it out for free on Steam.
Development studio Vercidium has not indicated when the beta might end.
