A lot of celebrities have played League of Legends over the years like FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried.

League of Legends is an online multiplayer game. It was developed by Riot Games with the goal being to defeat enemies by destroying their base. The action-strategy game was founded in 2009 and has been a big hit.

Bankman-Fried is in the news right now as his crypto exchange FTX has gone from being valued at almost $32 billion to now filing for bankruptcy. In the past, Bankman-Fried was profiled as being so bright that he could pitch to investors while playing League of Legends.

An investigation by the Financial Times has found that Bankman-Fried was rather terrible at the game, as he has played over 1,000 matches without ever leaving Bronze Tier II. The additional part of his League rank seems like a story of bad news getting worse for Bankman-Fried and FTX, but not nearly as bad as the bankruptcy part of things for his company.

Let this be a lesson to all the other founders of billion-dollar companies. When in a meeting trying to bring in investors, try to spend less time gaming compared to running your company. At the least, if you do plan to play some video games, make sure it is a game where your rank cannot be looked up online unless it really is that good.

Maybe a game of Disney Dreamlight Valley would make more sense as you search for the green rising penstemon flowers.
