Pikmin 4 has been on our minds since its first announcement on Sept. 13, 2022 during a Nintendo Direct. It showcased upgraded graphics and a different camera angle so players could see more of the colorful open world.
We all tuned into the June 2023 Nintendo Direct, only expecting more juicy details on Pikmin 4, but we got that and so much more. Pikmin 1 and 2 are also coming to the Switch! The first game was released for the Nintendo GameCube in 2001, while the second was released in 2004.
So when can players dive into the games again or for the first time?

Pikmin 1 and 2 are available now! You can buy both as a bundle for $49.99 or the second game for $29.99. You can only get digital copies of these games.
The games follow the adventures of Olimar (and Louis in Pikmin 2), who crash-lands on a planet inhabited by Pikmin, small, plant-like creatures used to solve puzzles, defeat enemies, and collect ship parts. The Pikmin come in different colors, each with its unique abilities, like water and fire resistance. The games are known for their unique gameplay, which combines elements of real-time strategy, puzzle-solving, and adorable creatures.
Pikmin 3 has been on the Nintendo Switch since October 2020 for $59.99 for physical and digital copies. Now, we can play all of the main installments on the Switch.
