As Kratos and Freya move through Vanaheim, in search of the spell that holds Freya's physical form to Midgard, the two are stopped by Fiske — a large, armored opponent who wields a scythe. To continue on the journey, Kratos must vanquish Fiske by himself.

How to Defeat Fiske in God of War Ragnarök
Fiske's main attack to watch out for is his scythe, which will flash purple when it has been charged with Bifrost. Bifrost wears off over time, so avoid getting hit again to spare yourself from massive damage.
Make use of well-timed dodges and the shield block to negate as much of his damage as you can.
Absorb his hits to charge up the shield. Discharge the attacks to stun him slightly, giving you a chance to sweep in with some melee combos.
Fiske's health bar should start to fall away quickly through this method.
