Blizzard Entertainment finally dropped Diablo 4 on June 6, and fans cannot get enough of it. There are five playable classes to choose from: Sorcerer, Barbarian, Rogue, Necromancer, and Druid. Rod Ferguson already announced the most popular class on Twitter with the Sorcerer/Sorceress dominating as the favorite.

That begs the question of which class is the least liked in the game. Players voiced their concerns on the official Diablo 4 forums, Twitter, and other platforms saying that the Druid class isn't the greatest. After the beta release, many argued that the shape-shifting class's powers pale in comparison to others. Some of the biggest faults of the Druid are their lengthy Ultimate Skills cooldowns and weak Companion Skills damage. These characteristics made plenty of Diablo fans leave the Druid in the dust.

Blizzard listened to the masses after the Early Access and Open Beta weekends ended, making several changes to the Druid's abilities. These changes include increased damage for Companion Skills, reduced cooldowns for Ultimate Skills, usability improvements to Maul and Pulverize, and the power to turn back into human form upon using a non-Shapeshifting Skill.

The Druid may be a bit harder to grasp since it requires more strategy to get the most out of the class. But with the post-beta updates, the best stats, and the right build, the Druid may prove to be stronger than people think. Joe Piepiora, The Associate Game Director of Diablo 4, states that the Druid eventually becomes one of the strongest classes later in the game — at least when it comes to internal testing. Who knows? Maybe things will turn around for the animal whisperer.
