Based on a leak by ‘Osvaldatore‘, Lifeline is likely to receive a buff in the next Apex Legends Season 13 buff. The notorious Legend has seen better times, and fans have been clamoring for a buff of some sort. While the data mined buffs aren't game-breaking. It should lean Lifeline to a more stable position.
Here are the listed buffs.
- Increased D.O.C. Heal Drone health pool from 150 to 9999
- Doubled D.O.C. Heal Drone zone reach radius
- Downed teammates can now opt out Combat Revive’s auto-revive
- Reduced Care Package’s cool-down from 5 minutes to 3 minutes 30 seconds
It's pretty great to see that Lifeline can heal all her teammates without running out of fuel and even the heal zone is doubled, allowing for players to stay a bit more spread out. Having to stack up so close is just asking for a throwable to knock your whole team.
Will this be enough to make Lifeline a viable Legend again? Unlikely. Adding a destroyable shield like Newcastle, for downed teammates seems to be a perfect choice. Her unbreakable shield was too strong, but making it break gives enemy players a chance to change the outcome.
