The King’s Rock is one of the evolution items in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. With now over 100 new, generation nine Pokémon in the franchise, it is important to stay on top of the Pokémon that can evolve from each item.
Unlike the evolution stones, the King’s Rock is also a hold item you can give to your Pokémon. When holding the King’s Rock in battle, after inflicting damage, the likelihood of the opposing Pokemon to flinch increases.

As of now, there is only one way to get your hands on a King’s Rock in the Paldea Region in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Similar to the Leaf Stone, they are purchasable at Delibird Presents. However, a King’s Rock is more expensive, on the market for 10,000 Poké Dollars. Keep note that before buying one, trainers must complete four gym badges
Like in prior games, in Pokémon Scarlet And Violet, Slowpoke is the only Pokémon that can evolve from the King’s Rock. The process to evolve Slowpoke with a King’s Rock is different than using an evolutionary stone. In order to evolve it, the Slowpoke must be holding a King’s Rock while trading.
